BEHIND THE BUDS: Featuring Wen!

This month we are proud to feature our friend Wen from the processing department.

Wen has been at OGEN since June 2020 and is known as a dependable and methodical worker who tries his best to exceed expectations. Wen seems to relish any challenge that comes his way. He is efficient when completing his tasks and rolls with the punches when problems arise. Wen has great attendance and when overtime was required he always stepped up to the plate. Wen has a great attitude and seems to really enjoy coming into work every day. Wen has no problems collaborating with multiple teams, he is polite and interacts positively within the team with which he is working. He is open to taking direction, takes pride in his work, and holds himself to exacting standards of performance. It is a privilege to work with Wen.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WITH OGEN?

I have been at OGEN for 2 years and 8 months.

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH CANNABIS LIKE?

This is my first experience working in the cannabis industry and so far, it has been very rewarding.

HOW DO YOU LIKE TO SPEND YOUR DAYS OFF?

I enjoy gardening and photography on my days off. Also, the occasional game of table tennis when able.

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY AT OGEN LOOK LIKE FOR YOU?

Working in the processing department either working with labelling and production or in Bulk packaging.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE STRAIN TO WORK WITH AT OGEN?

I enjoy working with the Gas Berries strain.

IF YOU COULD CHOOSE ANY SUPERPOWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY?

If I could have any power it would be magic as it is very versatile.
